Doug Collins
Executive Director, PrimeTime

Doug CollinsDoug Collins also serves as President of The Sherry Lansing Foundation. Among his duties is the management of PrimeTime LAUSD, which recruits and places retirees as volunteers in K-12 Los Angeles public school classrooms.

In addition, Doug is a key advisor to the EnCorps Teachers Program and serves as the liaison between Ms. Lansing and the Chief of Staff of the University of California Board of Regents.

He also supervises the foundation's initiatives with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, the Carter Center, Encore.org, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH), Friends of Cancer Research; the Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee (ICOC) of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), the L.A. Opera, the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation, STOP CANCER, and the University of Chicago Lab Schools.

Prior to launching his career in the nonprofit sector, Doug served as Director of Development in the Paramount Motion Picture Group and headed two independent production companies under the aegis of Paramount Network Television.

He earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of South Florida and a Graduate Certificate from the Applied Gerontology Institute at California State University, Los Angeles.

Doug is passionately committed to the continued social, educational and professional engagement of Baby Boomers and post-Boomers.
